may i make the point that when wigan signed DV he was a good player with a reputation of being a world class centre playing for NZ in the process!! i just cant understand why he has been soo awful at wigan could some please explain? lol cheers

Because that's what happens to world-class players when they arrive here. They either get injured or suffer a loss of form that lasts for most of their contract term.

Similarly, poor players who leave the club go on to star with other teams.

I'd give him the benefit of doubt. He has a ripped fascia muscle on his big toe and also has a heel spur on the same foot. Not severe injuries and easily treated with relatively minor surgery but enough to impact on performance because he can't train properly through the week and gets through matches on pain killing jabs. The only reason Fozzard knocked him out in the recent SH match is bacause his timing out due to lack of training field practise.

We'd rest him to recover if we had the cover..... but we've not. :conf:

I cant agree with you about Tommy i think hes a good player, but with crap forwards we cant get space and a roll on in attack thus relying on individual brilliance to cross the line and i think Tommy has shown that this year with his kicks and trys.

I do think Danny Hill sould get a shout in the team because hes agressive and determined which is good for the pack.

Over all the squad we have is never a top 6 side and never will be unless we sign 2 quality centers 2 decent props and quality fullback (Not Hodgeson)
