My contact at the club tells me:

- Chev Walker is a done deal. Announced soon.

- Fitzpatrick. Unfortunatley the interest is real and it looks like we may well have him next year. Given the chequered history with Gaz Hock and this guy I'm not sure he'll gel but..

- Carvell. Genuine possible but not definate.

- Trent Barret has done his back in deadlifting. Not serious but enough to stop his training tailend of the week.

what have you heard then

i read somthing about fitzpatrick not coming aswell medlock. think it was in the manc evening news! basically said he was gonna stay loyal and stay at salford next yr! was around the time when they printed that coley had signed for wigan!

About the same time as Luke Robison was on the radio telling all the Salford players to be loyal you know what happened then.

Chev Walker would be yet another poor signing for Wigan, Noble likes to have big players and Chev is quite big for a centre but he can't even catch or pass which isn't good for a centre.

covered full back alot at leeds, did a sound job, must have ahd to catch.

set calderwood up for a load of trys. must have been able to pass.
