I dont think Deacon will leave Bulls. He wont fit in our squad. yes yes we get the 'he lives in wigan' argument but a lot of ex-wigan lads (deacon not an ex- but...)

He's getting old with his kicking his only quality... we have richards who has done perhaps as good as him this season %-wise

The media have recently linked the Bulls with a move for Ben Jeffries, who is leaving Wakefield at the end of the season.

I know it's probably a case of adding 2 + 2 to equal 5, but I wouldn't dismiss a move for Deacon altogether.

Deacon has a good kicking game and would be another goal kicker to add to the squad.

He was linked with Wigan at the end of last season. Just before he signed a new contract (think it was a 3 year one), with the Bulls.

I know contracts mean nothing, and that if a player becomes unsettled or surplus to requirements, that situations may change, but IMO we are clutching at straws.
