Hall of Fame induction

Post by Matthew »

With Ellery (quite rightly) being inducted into the hall of fame tonight. Who else would you like to see joining him?

Personally I would like to see Martin Offiah in there (pretty safe bet at some stage) - who else do people think are worthy of this honour?

There are lots of players from the Grand Slam side who could be candidates.

Hanley has been added on ability and will to win - should factors like loyalty to the club count?

No "hilarious" entries like Doc Murray, DV, Koloi etc please

Interviewer: So that obviously means that you're not going to St Helens and you're not going to Leeds?

Frano: I don't know why I would ever want to go to St Helens or Leeds

Warriors Official Site:
He will become the tenth inductee, joining Andy Gregory, Billy Boston MBE, Brian McTigue, Dean Bell, Eric Ashton MBE, Jim Sullivan, Joe Egan, Ken Gee and Shaun Edwards OBE.
And Radlinski should definitely be one for the future too

No mike, would be a worthy addition though.

Offiah would have a strong case as he dominated hisposition, his try scoring recod speaks for itself, along with iconic 'glory day' images he produced eg v Leeds @ Wembley or for GB...

Would Andrew Fasrrell, years down the line, be worthy of a place?

James Slevin
Ces Mountford
And the “kind of rugby player you’d want to be in your dreams” James Leytham
Should be in the Wigan Warriors Hall
