wigan fan assaulted.
Last night after the match a 15 year old wigan fan, female, was assaulted and bottled by a middle aged st.helens fan, male. Police are now involved and appealing for witnesses.

Girl was released from hospital at around 12.30 she was bottled and suffered cuts to the neck apparently , it happened after some verbals between the 2 groups of fans . :conf: very sad its on the saints site .

If this is common knowledge and being discussed on both sites - shouldn't somebody notify the club (i'm assuming police already involved) so they can take appropriate action i.e banning the scumfrom every RL ground in the country for life.

Now I know this is shocking and to do something like that you must be a complete Kn*b but this does not surprise me some of the groups of teenagers (not all) and even some fans of my age are a disgrace the language and attitude stinks these incidents while not common have increased and will carry on to do so .
I'm not saying this girl did anything wrong and I hope she recovers quickly and the police catch the culprit and find out the full story we need to stamp this out quickly . Again very very sad
