Monaghan has been outstanding for Manly. However as stated, it has been as a hooker. He will not do it BUT Wire would go far better with him at 9.

What the Aussie Media cannot understand is why they released him early from his contract. It was also claimed his contract is $400,000

is that around £150,000?

It will be interesting to see Warrington's finances after these 'big name' signings... I fear (fear may be a wrong word) that Warington will be 'same old, same old' with cullen in charge... spend big, win nothing

gleeson, briers, morley, rauhihi, bridge, westwood, anderson, king (mega wage), the other 2 big earning aussies they just signed, and then the rest oft he squad cant be on peanuts, they mus tbe over!!!

kings on 700,000 aint he? thats like nearly half the cap!

but if theres no relegation next year only points deduction they could spend big play very well and absorb the points deduction knowing they cant be relegated ,just a thought
