We will never know if a better start at Leeds could of given us the game but Ganson gave a penalty to Leeds every four minutes to ensure they got off to a good start, good field position and possesion.
How does a St Helens supporter get to ref our matches. :eusa9:

quit blaming the ref.
we know ganson is a complete tosser, but we lost that game nobody else. some bizarre decisions but none the less, the game was gone before it started. 1 match to far.

I agree Nick - we looked very lethargic, some I think (including Feka - who obviously was) also went into the match carrying knocks, my thoughts anyway.

Noble's already said as much:
"They have shown up, not just this week but throughout the season and players have maybe played with bumps they shouldn't have played with, they have commitment to each other."

Leeds were 1-2 seconds faster per PTB and Wigan were 0.5-1 second slower at getting back the 10. Consequently Wigan were always on the backfoot and under pressure. Under pressure sides give away the most penalties.

I don't mean to digress from a great Leeds' performance (which it was). But, Wigan where blatantly being taken back the full 10, whereas Leeds continuously encroached - witness what must have been a record number of infringements at the scrums by one side during one game!!
It is a gamble that coaches take, but obviously gives a superior advantage if the referee isn't committed enough to penalise constantly for the offence, (of which Ganson is a particular to fault on this).
The stains fans at work, constantly complained over the shoddy "10" officiated by Klown - and is, and has been a constant, throughout Tony Smith's coaching, whilst over in this country.

Well a certain few of the penaltys were reasonable. Ask the big i and fitzy. I kept calling that a penalty would be given and there was a penalty given. Ganson should of given a bit of slack to both teams as I thought both teams looked dead on their feet in the second half.

The difference was that Leeds were moving off the mark as soon as the ball was played and Wigan were still making it back the ten. Their play the balls were noticeably quicker than Wigans.
