Man of Steel for sale?

Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

Man of Steel for sale?

Post by butt monkey »

James Roby is the only Stains player currently unsigned for next season.

He is asking (apparently) for a huge pay increase, with the Stains very unwilling to oblige.

Was told today that as part of the "Merry-Go-Round" of Long to Catalans, Deacon to Stains and Roby to............

Nice to see that Stains are having salary cap problems like us they produce young players and they come good and want rightly so a decent wage but cant fit under the cap .Thats whats wrong with the system a player like Roby comes along once in a blue moon he asks what he is worth and Saints cant or wont pay under salary cap.
Hey were short of a hooker next year and have money to spend????????

Its in the Liverpool echo recently that Roby is out of contract after the grand final and is yet to sign a new contract.

Rumour has it he wants to be one of the highest earners at St Helens something that the Stains are not willing to do.

Bye, Bye Roby we are not going to miss you one bit.Smell you later
