Dave O ive found out on Wikipedia on the Hull F.C page that Wigan have signed Gareth Carvell its on the Outs bit whats your thoughts on that?
Only that one of us could edit Wikipedia to say that we've signed Donald Duck! Wikipedia is even less reliable than the Wigan Evening Post as a source, at least there's only a small number of people who can write stuff for the WEP, whereas the entire world can edit Wikipedia. There was all kinds of garbage written on the Wigan page after the Latics were first promoted to the Premiership to make them sound absolutely wonderful and basically dismiss us as being a pub rugby team, edited by Latics fans with nothing better to do. Wikipedia is completely unregulated and therefore completely unreliable.

I also said that Wigan are running the rule over Mark Smith.
Why would we need to "run the rule" over him? He played for us for 5 years, and was then released. What's to find out? He wasn't good enough then, and still isn't.
Well tell me who is good enough currently avalable with league experiance. It seems nobody is good enough for Wigan anymore IMO Mark Smith did a decent job when Terry Newton was injured/Suspended as did John Clarke when he played for a short time.
We were much critasised for letting quality youngsters go, Now one might return a better player with captancy experiance and he is maligned we cant fill our team full of so called Superstars.
