Vaeleki could be on his way back to Wigan

Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

Vaealiki has been playing for Wigan and the former English glamour club are interested in re-signing him now that his switch of codes has stalled.

By the way i`d like him to stay.
I wouldn't! It would be a step backwards IMO.

It also says (primarily), that West Tigers are chasing him for one of their two positions at outside back. So it is more likely a management ruse to boost his wages (again).

It really depends on whether he's prepared to play for a 6th of what he was on before. Then it would be okay ... so long as it was also on a 'pay for how well you play' scheme.

If we'd have been using that system with him he'd be paying us! :D

If DV was to take a pay cut then id have still in the squad. Did well last season and got better as the season go on. One of the better players in the last month.

But we cant have him on his present wage as its killing us on the cap. Give him 1 year with a 1 year option based on the clubs needs.

If DV had been offered a reduced wage for a contract next season before he was let go in order to join the French RU side fair enough.

If he is offered a contract now it just looks like we are scraping the barrel and can't find anyone else. We were happy to let him leave now we are going to sign him again? It just looks like that means all other attempts to sign a replacement have failed so we had better make the best of a bad job and have DV back.

The club will look stupid and unprofessional if that happens.

Re your last comment then nothing would have changed in the club running. Weve been unprofessional for years.
