i know you dislike RU AnL but come on! this is your country here! it doesnt matter if its football, rugby, tennis, olympics, fly fishing!! you follow your country no matter what. it's called patriotism, something you don't seem to have much of.
regardless of it being rugby union, applauding a disallowed try is a disgrace to your country, im sorry :conf:

There's nothing wrong with wanting South Africa to win. I am a neutral to rugby union. Should I support Lewis Hamilton then? he's english with an english team, or should I stick with Ferrari even though they are Italian? The fact that I 'should' support any english team is stupid. We win nothing in road racing (cycling) so should I have supported Mark Cavendish in Le Tour de France because he's on of our only english hopes? no
I have my own opinion which is 100% valid.

correct, but as you are english, i believe it's only fitting that you support your national team. and the fact lewy hamilton is leading the F1 ladder, id advise you do support him, as he's what we haven't had for years in motor sport.
you are allowed your own opinion to support certain teams, but when it is something involving your own nation, you should give their backing to them. otherwise everyone would be supporting brazil/new zealand/australia/italy, as they seem tob e the nations that produce goods in football, rugby, cricket, tennis, racing.

Watched the Northern Union game till 8.30 then National Lotto with Dale Winton then nowt till the snooker came on. That's very ordinary so thought I'd have a few minutes catching up on here but there aint much news about that's for sure. Didn't turn out tonight as I knew I'd have to put up with the rah rah all night.

The thing is im not english, Im a mixture of Gaelic, french, celtic, german, scnadanavian... england is a mixture of all european nations - something people forget. It is only since we changed from latin/ french into the english language and development of a nation state we are known to be 'english'.
I wish Hamilton well, he has done well but im no glory hunter, i stick with 1 team
