If the deferred wages have used up all the cap space why didn't he just come straight out and say that?
He also specifically said £140K doesn't buy you many players.

Operative words being "left to spend".

Well I eared it Dave and took him to mean exactly the same as you .
I have edited my previous post to include a link where anyone can go and listen to him say it in a BBC video.

If you go back to the link you posted at the start of this thread and read it , it contradicts what you say and seeing this seems to be what your going on about I just don't see it , Nobby and IL have both stated that they are looking to bring in players and are discussing what we need and the best way to do it , most people on here seem to be in agreement about this so maybe you should take your own advice and listen
I have a very good source which tells me we will be having at least 1 new recruit for 2008. All I can tell you is, he is male, has floppy hair sometimes and plays somewhere between 1-13.
