To be hoenst i think is a bit of shrewd PR work on the part of big willie, he's basically saying look at me look how many clubs are interested and obviously putting himself next to the wigan brand makes for good PR. We are prob the only team that all aussies know and respect hence the reason he never mentions th hull talks cos that isn't going to impress potential buyers

But if the title was 'Mason says something along the lines of: "Wigan have made me a tempting offer"' then it wouldn't be a rumour, since Mason did. Same conversation different section.
