Like i said hes using Wigan as a make weight to get more cash.Idiot.
Which is probably at the bottom of the vast majority of so-called rumours linking players to Wigan. I suppose that might stop if we lose our reputation for signing any old Tom, Dick or David Vaealiki on ridiculously huge sums of money but it will take a while I think. I can't say I blame him really, but given our owner's already stated position on the salary cap as soon as he took over, our problems over the last couple of years with the points deductions and the absolutely ludicrous sums of money being mentioned about Mason, I find it very disappointing that supposedly-reputable news agencies like the BBC took a statement from Mason so seriously when it was never ever going to happen with the money being spoken about.

Indeed, BBC report said:

"
Hull have reportedly given up hope of a deal but Wigan owner Ian Lenagan has made Mason a £1.5m, three-year offer. "

Note the use of the word 'reported' on the Hull part but not about the offer. Shoddy journalism.
