Your nearest Rugby club??

Post by ancientnloyal »

I was wondering what my local rugby club was, so tippled down to www.therfl.co.uk and clicked on the Rugby Club Locator...

7 clubs are closer to Wigan Warriors from where I live:

Westhoughton Lions - 3.46km
Hindley ARLFC - 4.38km
Ince Rose Bridge - 4.6km
St Pats - 5.38km
Chorley Panthers - 6.15km
Atherton Dragons (never heard of them) - 6.76km
Wigan St Judes - 7.25km
Wigan Warriors - 7.46km
Leigh Cenyawnions - 8.05km
Leigh MR - 8.46km

Quite interesting I didnt know about Atherton... thought i lived closer to leigh than Wigan but anyways... be nice to see who's local clubs are. HC/ waterside glens and trotski for one... Im guessing 100km +

Just thought I'd add -

Golborne Parkside (I'm a Golborner)
Orrel St James
Leigh East.

Do Ashton still have a team? I know it used to be Ashton Bears
