mike gregory tributes

Post by josie andrews »

I have just had the sad news that Mike Gregory has died. My heartfelt sympathies go to his family.
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I've had a message through from my mate who works with Riversiders Media person (Nine???) telling me the same. :(

didn't want to post first with not being able to find anything 'official' announcing it.

Very sad news. Only 43 as well. My sympathies to his family and friends.

Had he not been struck down with this awful disease I am sure he would have made his name as a coach so the game has suffered a loss here as well as his family.
