i will say Carney as well. But he is my favorite player, an plays 4 wigan. So people will say that i am biased. I am not bothered i think he was.

i don`t know if this counts cos he was injured at the back end of last season.. but for me.. no one touches lammy.. whenver he plays you KNOW something will happen...

if i was honest, & looking for a non wigan player.. but english that has a bright future...i think rob burrow ( spelling?) is gonna have a HUGE career..

ooooo he annoys me so much! hes always complainin about somethin and when you dont want him to, he ducks under the defence, runs the length of the pitch and scores. little get :sly: !!!

bit off the point but did mo seriously say the other day that we dint have enough money because of the salary cap to buy a temporary replacement for carney??

Smithy was good in the second half against Widnes, he was looking to offload whenever he could rather than making the yards and going down.

He was one of the most consistent players for us last year too. I'd say he was our best player last year too.

I certainly thought Lam deserved man of steel the second time that Sculthorpe won it, especially the way he performed that season when Farrell was missing. The game at Salford sticks in the mind.

Last season Graham Appo amd Denis Moran impressed.
