Ste it will be peak season in august. why not try consigliere's cherry promotions when things are sorted or the Warriors plane like in 2007 - if I remember it was £235 for flights and transfers :conf:
Thanks mate

Just wondering what Perpignan is like as a place? There lots of nice places to stay? How have you all found it on previous trips?

We cannot comment on last year (2007) because the day we went, the region was hit with the biggest downpour of rain in 3 months without rain. Cold, wet and miserable as soon as we left the plane BUT...

The town is quite small but nice. A small castle and a canal running through the centre with bars on to which wiganers drank pre-match all day.

There's a beach a few miles east so by june/august it'll be lovely to go... busy hot and lively.

recommended if you only go once

If you stay in Barca how easy is it to get to Perp or is it a case of having to split your time between the 2 places?

I am Mrs B, hoping to persuade she who must be obeyed to indulge. I think she would like the Barca bit as a sweetner.

Planning on flying into Carcassonne, couple of nights there and then to Perp for the match, night or 2 there and then back to Carcassonne.
not many flights at the moment, so may book the Catalans Travel trip instead! :conf:
