after we lost out on Chev Walker and we have now signed Karl Pryce i was just wondering what people on here thought?

Personally i think we have the better option, i feel Pryce has is the better option as he is younger, bigger and i feel he is a better prospect and if the press reports are correct i bet he is a lot cheap on the salary cap.

what are your thoughts?

Got to be price for me... Bigger Stronger Younger,
If we would have gone for walker i couldnt see him making more of an impact than price, so its got to be price for me. How old is Walker by the way, Hes getting on a bit now isnt he?

Bigger doesnt mean a thing.

Rob burrow isnt the biggest but im sure you would choose him over another scrum half who is bigger.

If we signed walker, we might not have bought carmont and mathers.
So in not signing walker we have signed mathers, carmont and pryce.

Noble said we need stability. Filling in key areas and having backup is the start of our stability.

Ok size is nothing put Burrows on the wing and see what size means.

Walker was great during his time at leeds but i never thought he was a quick centre. He played in the barge and brash role creating space for Calders to exploit which led to him being top try scorer for a season. All being said he wouldnt of been a bad signing however in Pryce we have a quick athletic finisher.
For too many years now we have had a lack of strike players TB being the only one to mind for last season. now we have added competition in the 3/4 better cover at fullback and all within the salary cap.

Six of one and half a dozen of the other for me. Both good players for Leeds and Bradford but lets not forget what IL said when the signing was not yet announced:- "Work in progress" was the term used to describe our target I think. So don't expect Inga type performances from day one.

I am glad we have signed a player who has some size about him. Carmont is not a big centre and our team has been pushed aside too easily in recent seasons so Pryce has the size we need IMO.
