Heard a rumour the pitch is to be dug up in June and we have been asked to change fixutures around ,as i have been away dont know if this as been posted b4 ,any 1 else heard any thing?????

Not heard anything. Has the middle been relayed? Thats what i thought at the Cas game. In case you were away when it happened they burnt the centre of the pitch trying to dry it out (for a latics match)and it left a big brown stain down the middle. It looked like the entire length down the middle had been dug up

Yeah think it was Steve Bruce who mentioned it, we have 2 away games in a row already and they are going to see if we can swing a third leaving technically about 4 weeks to get it done.

Not sure but why does it have to be in the rugby season

This is the 4 week peiod from June. I havent heard anything but theres 2 games away on the trot, could be the best time to do it. They could make us go to huddersfield or go down and maybe down to quins again.

if they change the huddersfield game around ,he pitch will be free from 16th may when we play wire till end of June ,not sure what games latics have let then no there last games is home to utd dont know date though,makes sense to me it needs doing :conf:

Agreed it needs doing but why should we suffer? We have more than enough away games at the begining as it is :conf:

well i agree with you,have you seen the state of it, its not premier league quality, its like a sundy league pitch.

If i remember rightly they were looking at changing the quinns match. I been trying to find the article but cant but definatly remember steve bruce mentioning it

That would mean the game being a 3 oclock kick off on a saturday

let latics switch there last game they wont have any 1 there any way think its all ready sold out
