Wendell for Super League?

Post by butt monkey »

Wendell Sailor's 2 year ban is over in a matter of a few weeks, and he is already supposed to be talking to St George Illawarra and "couple of sides" in the UK, to play for this season!

Wonder who would be interested in him?

Not us... maybe 8 years ago but not now. The only team with cap money remaining may be Bradford to some extent or Hull FC

Ces Mountford

If you mean de-registering injured players in order to sign him (or others), then no club could be ruled out.

As for space on their respective team's caps, I would doubt that either Hull or Bradford have space left, especially after both teams close season "splurge" on new players. To that matter, any SL team, but there is the possibility that a player on the "come-back trail" after his offence, may come cheap. :doz:

Let's face it, if teams (and we are supposed to be one of them) are allowing themselves to be linked with a 35 year old Ruben Wiki, then what are the odds for a 33 year old who hasn't played competitively for the last 2 years?
