on wiganonline.co.uk there is nothing about lam, but there is news on cassiday, farrell and melling. cass almost certainly in the squad for friday. faz 50-50 and melling doubtfull. on wish fm gregory said mellings injury is not as bad as first thought. not heard anything about lam other than what mike posted the other day.

They should keep Farrell on the sidelines for another couple of weeks at least. Yes, we've got injury problems, but we're not really short of numbers in the pack and if he comes back early I can see him damaging something again. He hadn't run with the team as of last week, I think I'd want him to be at least up to that before being thrown into a match. Do they still allow overage players in the U21's fixtures? That'd be the best thing, give him a run out with the kids like they used to do with Haughton, as a warm-up before putting him back in the first team. It works in other sports, plus it would be a bit of an experience for the youngsters to have the GB captain in their side. Most of their team is already in our 1st team, so a bit of swapping around would be interesting I think!

I disagree with what you say. i think that we need him back asap. he mite have another injury an he mite not. When he gets back, he will be the captain, an hopefully he will b able 2 have a big talk with the team, while they are playing. then we mite play better.

Faz usaully makes up his own mind doesn't he? At the end of last season he seemed to. He played for a couple of months with a gammy knee. I was cringing everytime he got crunched thinking he might not get up.

There is always the risk of coming back too early and having another lay off, like Robbie Paul did. If it's only a case of waiting another two weeks I don't think there is anything to worry about at this stage of the season. Look at Leeds last year, started off superbly and dropped off at the end of the season just around the time of the Challenge Cup final.

I just wont him, an the other players to get back as soon as they can. Then we will have more chance of winning the games. An hopefully winning the challenge cup final. AN the SL final. :D
