Considering that Wire's coach Cullen was calling for "the punishment to fit the crime" regarding Mather's judicial appearance. And this from one of the "dirtiest" centres of his generation too.

I suppose it was at least good news that the ESL didn't listen to all his constant rubbish!

Because according to reports only a few days ago, he wasn't even fit enough to have a "obligatory cognitive head test".

Still, considering that King went down faster than Frank Bruno, I too would be embarrassed to explain that he was "knocked" unconscious by nothing more than a "girly-slap"!!!!

Yeah GoefffffffN, but I thought tonites was a lot worse than Mathers. I`m not just saying this because Mathers plays for Wigan...But, in tonites tackle the Wakey player had a stiff arm and continued to take the Hull player down with his arm around his neck and slammed him on his back onto the field. Where as Mathers let go after the first impact and didnt take King down to the floor around his neck. King fell to the floor as he was already out cold...Would expect tonites to have a more serious ban. But then again
1, the player wasnt injured at the scene and
2, he play`s for Wakey not Wigan.

Shall await the outcome of this one.
I think that is the Wigan tinted specs there Gem... both were as bad as each other but in different ways. Mathers hit King with a hell of a lot more force than Leo Latu hit Dykes but Leo Latus did look more malicious.

The way some Wigan fans have talked about this is that they think Mathers should have got away with it unpunished. You need to effect tackles like that correctly.
