As the walk is now a month or two away, this is just a little message to the people taking part in the walk. Just asking how they are doing with the sponsorship forms and if they have done any preparation/walking.
I also have the official letter which has been checked and given a pass by Joe Lydon, just to confirm your taking part which will be sent out soon.
And I would like to say a thank you to, Luck Robinsons Angel and Sudokuwarrior, for their donation into Mike`s charity.
Thanks for doing that update Gemma iv been meaning to get round to it but been busy with work & forgot to chat to you about it on Good Fri.

Also i was just wondering how everyone is getting up to the walk? I may have two spaces available in my car for two medium sized adults. Anyone needing a lift just let us know and i will let you knowcloser to the time if i am driving up.
Regards
Danny

Hi a quick update as it is only 2weeks to go till those taking part meet up At the Bunkhouse in Fort William.
Firstly will all those who are doing the walk, who i dont have an e-mail address for please send me a PM on the site with there names & i will PM you back my mobile number for contacting me nearer the walk.
I will send my mobile number out to those i have e-mail addresses for & will txt my number to those that i dont get e-mail addresses for. I was thinking it would be a good idea for all to meet up on the friday night at the pub attached to the Bunkhouse.
That way we can finalize the start time for the walk the next day. We can also go over basic safety tips from the more experience walkers who will be part of the group.
At the last count we have 22-23 people taking part, sadly one of our group has had to pull out due to an illness, but wants to complete the walk later in the summer.
For those on the site that know me & have not sponsered me YET Shame on you

No names will be mentioned

OR songs sung
Very Big Thanks to Gemma for all her help as without it I dont think we could have done it. Gemma has put a lot of time, effort & hard work into helping organize this event & she is not able to attend the walk so has done MORE than her bit to keep this event going.
Thanks Half Pint

Just a thought, but has anyone approached the club about doing a bucket collection at the wire game?
I have done this type of thing in the past (many years ago) and had to get a license (this was in Chester mind), so not sure if too late.
Just a thought

It was suggested Guy But due to me being up here & doing the Walk i had posted on the site in the past Asking if anyone could help in doing this. I though if a few of the riversiders could help that would be great & if some one could vlolunteer to aproach the club before the game that would be great.
After all even if people are not doing the walk this could be their way of helping out. No pressure on anyone though im just asking for some help.
This is a laid back aproach to Helping the Mike Gregory Trust as im not the type to like things to organized as in a Beurocratic type way
So anyone want to help plz get in touch with myself, Nobbygirl or even Mr Mike Binder.
Thanks to all who have helped & are taking part in the walk.
