Video > DVD transfer request

Didnt know which forum, but related to wigan so here...

a quicky...

Would anyone be able to transfer an old video I have (Wigan v Leeds offiah 10 tries) into a dvd format? I no longer have the technology to do. I will supply all postage costs to and from and dvd costs etc...

Micron can do this for you, they're the ones who do all the Wigan videos/dvd's

I have loads of old Wigan videos that i would love to copy to dvd but don't know what software i need ect, if anyone could give me a clue as to what software i need i would be most gratefull, thanks in advance.

No software needed Dawbz. You simply add a video player to your TV / DVD set up viascart leads and record on DVD whilst playing the video.

My only problem used to that copying like that would not work on my portable DVD player I use for work.
I had to convert all the files through NERO and make another compatible copy.

But I have cracked it now and even put last weeks match onto my mobile because I knew I wouldn't get chance to watch it this week otherwise.
Thats dead easy through NOKIA video manager.
Not a massive picture but it was good enough!

Not sure why that would happen Consig. You been skimping on DVD Discs ;) Verbatim all the way, worth the extra pennies. Sounds like your portable required standard DVDs to be decrypted and suitable for a computer etc.

The daft thing is they work on my older cheapo one but not on my new fancy one with Freeview built in.

Sounds like your new one is digital ??
