Dwain Chambers trial over

and they have not offered him a contract.

Well that was all a bit on an anti-climax. They were talking about him like he was going to be the next big thing.

I supose it just shows how much is needed to make it in this league

You need to be able to play rugby first and foremost. he can't.

The problem was expectation on both sides, certainly his. He kept talking about a £60,000 contract. The reality was he would have had to play for free and learn the basics for 12 months, maybe longer. He also had no endurance fitness. 400 metre runners tend to be better prospects athletically for RL.

Offer the guy a wedge of brick to as a sprint coach for the rest of the season, he ain't doing nothing else, could be just what the doctor ordered

it says on the skysports website that he has options from several other clubs...

im judt cringing and waiting for us to offer him a permanent contract... :lol: :lol: :lol:
