Just a question for you all:

By shouting held, and then going to the screen, was it an error by Thaler for backing Klein into a corner that he couldn't get out of, therefore the only conclusion could have been a try to Warrington?

According to www.therfl.co.uk (The ask Stuart Section), for the Ben Thaler/Ashley Klein "alledged" cock up, Cummings replies:

The referee Ben Thaler calls “short” as Stuart Reardon is placing the ball over the line. Ben Thaler then asks the video referee to check if the tackle had been completed.

The video referee then viewed the footage and correctly confirmed that the ball or the arm that was carrying the ball had not touched the ground and so the tackle had not been completed. The video referee then asked Ben Thaler if he had called “held” at any time. Ben replied that he had not so the try was correctly awarded.

He means incorrectly awarded. Ben Thaler clearly yells, "1, you're/he's short mate" and only then does he go to AK who wrongly awards the try??

Who was in the wrong here, Thaler for allowing play to continue or Klein for alllowing the try to stand?

Can someone please explain this ruling??

While we are on the rules, Can some one on here (robjoenz???) please explain to me why Saints's third try was given to them by VR Richard Silverwood after the replays showed that Meli was in an offside position?
