we can learn quite a bit from that performance from wire! They cant defend attacking rugby as was evident when saints utilised the dummy runners very effectively wire seem to struggle against that. Hopefully Nobby uses his initiative and has us playing the same style of attacking shape next week.
Saints also ran at penny well and it is obvious he is a liability in defence; next week we need to attack him at every oppertunity, I would play calderwood as we definately require pace next week.
What wire are good at is quick play the balls and getting on a roll. Next week we need to slow their play the ball down to stop Morley and Rauhihi charging at us. They also use the inside ball effectively and we definately need to stop this.

Me too. Wire have an attack we can only dream of and backs with pace - which we have not.

If they sling it wide they will get a record victory against us next week.

:conf: Should be a good game, you can defend, but struggle when attacking, we can attack (sometimes), but are pants at defending! "Its anyones game"! :conf:

There 3 forward passes resulting in 3 trys then obstruction for 4 trys sould never have stood.

The momentum rule needs binning and Silverwood needs to consult a copy of the rulebook for obstruction.

 You tend to get used to it when playing St`s dont you? Think Cummins has been listening to a certain fat bald Sky presenter, with regards to the momentum rule, but to be honest, im more worried as to why we are totally incapable of putting anyone to the sword when we go ahead, (especially against St`s). Its as if the players, (or coach for that matter), thinks, "thats it, job done", and they tend to sit back and try to defend, despite the fact that our defence is, at times woeful!
Aaahhh well, heres for a good game on Friday!
