I have just been told by some one who works with Gansons wife that he has been in Whiston hospital since last monday. Been told that he has a blood clot.

Hope he gets well soon. I thought he gave us a fair shout at Headingly. Perhaps he checked his birth certificate prior to the game and found out he was born in Wigan.

i know first hand how much someone can go through from having a blood clot. my dad recently got over his, and he doesn't smoke, hadn't banged his leg, nothing, he just got it all of a sudden. he's just recovered i hope. so my thoughts go out to steve and family, hope he gets better.

Spot on psycho. I wouldn't wish that on anyone, so my best wishes go out to Steve Ganson and his family at this difficult time.

Ganson's replacement is Ronnie Laughton by the way.

I don't wish stuff like this on anyone (two of my uncles died from clots)

Hello Marg, are you sure his wife dident call him a bloody clot? he was the video ref at the game to-day helping saints.
