Fielden / Coley disciplinary hearings

Post by josie andrews »

Both Fielden and Coley have had a 'no charge' decisions as penalty considered sufficient. But both will receive a letter regarding their tackling technique.
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Fielden's letter will read:

"Don't shoulder charge someone once they have clearly passed the ball to someone else"

:)
"And Martin Offiah, trying to make some space, now then..." - Ray French, Wembley 1994
------------------------------------------------
Interviewer: So that obviously means that you're not going to St Helens and you're not going to Leeds?

Frano: I don't know why I would ever want to go to St Helens or Leeds

and Coleys will read:

'don't swing round their heads! it usually doesn't rub with the ref! usually resulting in penalties'

he winds me up with his high shot/penalty rate!

Didnt coleys hgih shot follow two blatent ones from leeds. We then get done for two in a row. (this will settle a argument between me and my dad)

However i though the ref was ok, did a few errors both ways.

None of Coley's high shots were as bad as the one from Bailey - which should have seen him leave the field

Bit of bad luck for us that Fielden has not got a ban for the rest of the season,i think Nobby would play him if he had one leg even though he is the least effective of all our props as it is.
