Went for a meal tonight to celebrate my brothers marriage on fri at verdes in eccleston. and on the table next to us was tommy l, eamon o'carroll, feka, some other bloke (presumeably agent def not player) and meli dunno what they were discussin but seemed strangefor meli to be out with them unless on business isn't he out of contract come the end of the year?

just friends from their time in NZ/ Oz etc...? It isnt uncommon for rival teams' players to mingle... although where would Meli fit in next season?

And even if we were interested in Meli - I don't think that we send 3 players to negotiate with him in a public place; surely that would be done by the management behind closed doors?

i wrote the post last night after to one too many lemonades and it sounded more tongue in cheek to me last night than it appears today. i was actualy seriously suggesting we were going in for meli just one of those i seen him in wigan tesco so he has obviously signed posts but i see i failed! lol

good replacement for caldewood i have to say
could do with a powerfull winger :alie:
