try peter sterlings book its quite a good read. also michael o`connors. the chapter slagging saints off after the 89 challeng cup final is awesome
more recently the real jason robinson by dave swanton(a former media manager at the warriors and sale sharks} is well worth a read.

Mike Curtis - Close Quarter Battle.

I know it's not a sports autobiography but it's a great read. Mike grew up in the Rhonda Valley in South Wales and, from an early age, played rugby for his school, town team and Wales schoolboys. Even from an early age, he was earmarked as a potential great for Welsh RU.
Instead, he joined the Para's and his first tour was in the Falklands conflict, during which his best mate was killed.
Whilst in the Falklands he witnessed the SAS at work and decided to apply for selection after the Falklands. Whilst in the SAS he served in numerous theatres including Gulf War 1 and Bosnia.
His accounts and the graphic depictions that are written in this book make it one of the best of its kind that there is IMO.
I've read somewhere in the region of 40-50 Special Forces / Military Intelligence books and this is probably the best one, buy some distance.
Like I said, I know it's not a sports autobiography, but it's one of the most gripping books that you could read if you've got even the slightest interest about what goes on in a conflict.

Apart from that, Mike Greg's book is a good read, especially from a Wiganers point of view.

Try Lance Armstrong's "Its not about the bike" ( i think). That is one tough bloke

Yep iv got that one and its a great read, Also if you like football I know Try John Greig's Autobiography

Its a very good read so iv been told but im biased being a Glasgow Rangers fan as well as a Wigan Fan
