Not too sure about this, but I did hear a rumour that Wigan will not have JJB as shirt sponsors for next season (and beyond).

This is because that Wigan (IL), found out one of the reason's why they didn't meet the required turn over of £4million+, as (I understand), Wigan were receiving no payments from Mr Whelan for the "honour" of having the logo enamoured on the front of the shirt for that last few years.

This is (if I am right), going to change for next season. :eh:

That might actually be a possibility (although it's "Norweb Energi" these days), because they're linked with Tesco now!

I loved that shirt - nearly as much as the guy wearing it!!

I liked the other Puma shirt, there were two versions because there was too much black on the first print and the sponsors complained.


the original one had solid black bars on the bottom.
