Just brief of what i thought on each player. This is from what i saw in the stands.

1 - Mathers - He should have covered the ball for the first try. After that he did a few one on one tackles. Caught a really diffucult high ball. Was organising people in attack. Getting involved in attack giving it to the centres and even put in a good kick.

2 - Phelps - average game. Nothing good nothing bad.

3 - carmont - average game. Nothing good nothing bad.

4 - goulding - average game. Good kick which should have been a try.

5 - Colbon - really slow on getting to saints kicks.

6 - Tackled well and tryed things in attack. Was limited due to being the only ball handler in the attacking line. Was also limited due to nobody running good lines for him

7 - LuLu - In at hooker, tryed things instead of just passing from the floor. Looked dangerous on the few times he tryed to take the defence on.

8 - Fielden - was furious after the first try. Looked up for it in the first 10 minutes. After that, just back to his usually self. Running sideways at slow pace and back into the markers.

9 - higham - didnt notice him at all

10 - coley - looked good in first half - holding down in defence giving us time to get back. Winning the floor every time in attack. Didnt notice in 2nd half.

11 - Hock - worst game ive ever seen him play. Must have knocked on or gave the ball away 4 or 5 times.

12 - Hansen - Nothing in attack what so ever. Fantastic in defence. Was involved in defence alot and did well.

13 - Tomkins - Did really notice him

14 - mossop - did really good and dominated in defence when he came on. Nothing in attack

15 - o carrol - didnt make too many yards. Why was he scooting ? What sort of game plan has props scooting ?

16 - feka - did he play ?

17 - mcillorum

Probably going to get flamed for this but. If we had richards in at fullback, i dont think we would have done aswell. Mathers got involved with the attack and fed it out to the centres. Although it didnt lead to anything, i still think we wouldnt have seen the ball outwide with richards at fullback.

you're being generous in my opinion for most.

Someone told me at half time that feka's first spell lasted 7mins 17seconds! Is this true? If it is, he's a joke!

Game from the stands is different to what is shown on tele. You notice more on tele.

IMO ITHOUGHT FROM THE START THE SAINTS PLAYERS LOOKED MORE PROFFESIONAL,MORE ENTHUSIASTIC,FITTER,BETTER ON ATACK AND DEFENCE,PLAYED WITH MORE PRIDE LOOKED LIKE THEY WANTED TO WIN THE GAME A HELL OF ALOT MORE THAN WE DID.

1: mathers didn't do anything to make me believe he is anything less than avergae to sh£t

2: colbon i like him but he is just not up to scratch

3: goulding was ok nothing spectacular either way the ball harldy ever played down the right channel prob cos barrett spent most his time on the left with lulu off the pitch

4: carmont looke bothered by loosing which was good tried to g up the wigan side to no avail!

5: phelps the bits he had his hands in he did well but couldn't impose himself on the game

6: barrett tried throughout and he never gave up not his best game but he gave 100%

7: lulu when he was on he casued damage but noble had him off the pitch for a vast amount of the match

8:feilden prob his best game for wigan so far proud of him

9: mclorum shouldn't have ben sent off but was a reckless challenge

10: coley ok and thats all

11: Hansen good in defence ineffective in attack

12: tomkins fairly annoyimus

13: hock too many silly mistakes

14: higam wasn't on for large quantities of the match when he was on did well

15: feka damaging when on but was it a total of 15 mins thee whole match

16: o'carroll did the hard yards but nothing special should never have been scouting but i blame coaching for this not him

17: Mossop how you can wait till the last 20mins before you play a player is beyond me, he played well the time he was n never got to see him in attack

Are you serious ? He ran sideways all of the time or back into the markers. Didnt make many yards at all.

watch the game again he had alot of go forward in a poor side he made yards and ran hard

I will be watching it tomorow.

it was no peacock performance but the side were awful and he atually did perform and was the best forward we had on offer
