This is my first posting, I live in Norwich (Norridge lol) but come from London and started watching RL following Wigan in about 1990 after getting disilluisoned with football.I understand how alot of their successes occurred and can only admire the skill of Edwards, Gregory, Offiah, Bell, etc but really can't understand what's been going on for a number of years. They have some "stars" and a good coach, but something is not gelling (player power ?) that maybe undermining the success of the club. The inconsistency of results is surprising , although I'm no afficinado about RL. In addition have looked at at the site a number of times and seem surprised at what appears to be happening. I've only seen the Warriors live twice, once in a derby at Central Park against Saints, great atmosphere. Then against Leeds about 3 years ago at JJB. Bad experience, car parking was not great and no help from the club. Emailed them but no reply.Anyway,the point of this to say Wigan are a fantastic club, with a great fan base. Just think they deserve more. Success in any sport is not guarantted, but earnt. Take Norwich City (please lol).

As for the team? **** knows - but clearly this can't continue. Noble isn't the first coach to fail at Wigan - and he probably won't be the last. However the least the fans deserve is some effort - and if Noble can't convince the team to give it; then he (and they) have no place at this once great club

sorry have to disagree the only thing that nobby did for wigan RL was to lift us out of relegation two seasons ago - since then what has he done?

Hasn't failed AT ALL? So you don't consider our last 3 games to be a failure?

Noble saved us from relegation - is that enough to give him the job for as long as he wants it? If tonight isn't enough to get him his marching orders - then I don't know what is!

Furthermore - in the 3 games against our most bitter rivals, they have scored more in each game; than we have scored in all three games combined. In the entire he has been at the club, Noble has beaten stains once out of about 13 attempts - that is failure as far as I am concerned - and that doesn't even include tonight's shower of shite!

Noble would indeed leave with "his head held high" - but it would probably on top of a lance held by a Wigan fan!

What's your definition of a "true fan" then? Just blindly accept defeat after defeat and be grateful?

This team is done for the season. Whatever is wrong it lacks time to be fixed in the duration of this season. Blame coach, players, confidence, blah, there's just not enough slack to solve it.

If we make the top six, it's over-representation and we don't really deserve it.

Gutted. Absolutely gutted.

Hull should relish next week.

Hull!!!! A Northern League side would relish massacring this shower of tripe! I have NO confidence in the ability of this side, as it currently stands winning any matches after what I just witness in-front of my very own eyes.
