IL said last night that he wants 2 big forwards and a lightning fast winger with Phelps at fullback. The most urgent thing that he was concerned with is that we desperatly need a real leader on the pitch, and I for one agree with him. I was impressed with him last night, his heart and soul is in Wigan and he has been left with a mess to clean up. Both on the field &; with contracts, and with vertually no management structure in place.
He also said that he had 18 young players coming off contract that he had to re- sign, taking up more contract money. Richards has taken a massive drop in wages to stay with Wigan, and also Fecka, and I thank both players for the gesture.JJB will not be the club sponsers next year & the merchandice will be under the club control.We may have some people in the wrong jobs, but we have the Right guy at the top.
