I think its time for the players to practice what they preach!

More chance of winning the lottery, they have shown their true colours, 5 games left, how many do you think they will win?

It must have been Goulding's turn to give the public "we really need to get on with the season" speech

I'd prefer to hear how brilliantly they have trained AFTER they beat Hull convincingly. Because these words will mean nothing if we get another hiding

True, Matthew. But on the flip side of the coin most of us aren't naive enough to not realise that this is all PR work. They have to be seen to be doing something and telling the press that they are training really well is probably one of the only ways of getting a message across, before the game.

I agree that if we don't turn up again on Friday, it will all have been hot air and there will, no doubt, be even more calls for Nobby's head to roll.

That's what annoys me - with all the PR and media relations that the club does; it is hard to take any of it seriously.

We've had countless interviews with players (and management) saying things like "we've been inconsistent and we're looking to change that", "we've turned a corner", "training's gone great" - yet we have got progressively worse through the season; up until the stains game - after that we collapsed.

Fielden said that at the start of the season that we would see "the old Fielden"; until the last couple of games I was starting to think that I had misheard him and he had said we would see "an old Fielden".

I would prefer the club and players said nothing and did their "talking" on the pitch; rather than regurgitate the same old soundbites that ultimately mean nothing - before spectacularly surrendering to a bottom half of the table team that haven't won away all season.

Putting in performances like they did against Bradford in the play-offs last season will attract far more publicity for the club than talking the team up in interviews and then doing nothing on the pitch

We will hammer Hull :eusa10: They will have been celebrating all week, with a 120 mile journey on Friday.

If we fail here the walls will come tumbling down!

And Humpty Dumpty will have been well and truly broken never to paint the bridge.
