If you seriously thought for one second, that the rubbish that "performed" as badly as it did against Huddersfield, would repeat such a non-event against Hull, especially after all the public criticism, outcry and humiliation in the local and national media, you are very much deluded!
Now the "real" test will be against Les Cats, where the forecast is for hot weather next weekend (which will surely tell on the unfit players within the squad). Plus the usual self-congratulatory "back-slapping" that sees Wigan "slip up", more often than not, after an impressive win.
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
A proper fan
Supporting the Club through thick and thin, and believe me there have been many highs and lows since my first games in 1948.
I believe supporting the club is by constructive criticism of the team and coach of the day if warranted and certainly praising and enjoying the highs.
When we call for BN to be sacked don't forget the likes of Eric Hughes, always a sobering thought.
No one near me in the West Stand munchies on prawn sandwiches but support the club in there own way as do the many fanatical fans in the South.
We all want an early return to the glory days but teams and coaches come and go but the club goes on.
I agree - there is no such thing as a "proper fan" or that some are even better than others. It is not like some fans pay in non-coin of the realm denomination or such-like
