Cooke to leave KR

Post by Matthew »

Looks like Cooke isn't going to be forgiven by Justin Morgan and will be "off-loaded" to another Super League club:

Interviewer: So that obviously means that you're not going to St Helens and you're not going to Leeds?

Frano: I don't know why I would ever want to go to St Helens or Leeds

Maybe not
Salford have ruled out making a move for controversial stand-off Paul Cooke should he leave Hull KR.

Very likely not:-
Paul Cooke will once again take centre stage on Sunday when Hull KR face Harlequins at Craven Park.

The 27-year-old has been out of Justin Morgan's side for the last two games due to his off-field behaviour and appeared to be on the verge of leaving the club to join Wakefield earlier this week.

But the loose forward has since held talks with Morgan and club chairman Neil Hudgell and has now vowed to improve his behaviour and attempt to help his side reach the play-offs.

Having already caused civil unrest in his home town, sounds to me like he is more trouble than he is worth.

Well, thats what Bobby Goulding said to me the other day!!
