A Sad Feka to Hull

Let me start by apologising if this has been posted before as I think it may have.

Anyway that aside.

I have been told of this morning a little story that I personally believe and it goes like this.

Feka has been told only recently by one of the players that he is going, so Feka asks the club about what he has been told and the reply was yes we are letting you go and Hull are to agree a contract with you very shortly. Feka informs the club that he does not want to leave and said he will accept less money to stay. The club say no you are going.

Feka has been very upset about all this and again asked the club can he stay as he loves it here. The club tell him he needs to loose two stone, he has been working hard and already lost around one stone and brought is fitness level higher. The club only very recently have agreed with Hull the transfer and told Feka he his going to Hull to sign the contract only last week.

The story has just come to me and it was last week he was going to sign for Hull, I believe he has, but I’m trying to find out if this is the case.

This story has done the rounds once and been denied.

On one hand, I'm surprised the club can break a contract with a player at such short notice, so I don't buy it.

However, if we are chasing Carvell, I wonder if a player swap is under discussion and this means the contractual situation is different?

This story has come to me in a very strong way lets say, it is up to everyone to make there own minds up. As far as having a contract in place that means nothing these days and if a club or player wants to move it usually happens.

How would it alter the contract between Feka and the club if there is a player swap involved? Surely Feka's contract is with Wigan, irrespective of whether or not another player is being mentioned, whichever way you look at it, the club would have to buy Feka out of his contract. Otherwise it would be classed as sacking if they terminated his contract.

I would concur the value of contracts

He is unfit, still one of the reasons to keep watching this team. If he got fit he would be far better.

Unfortunately, there has been a bit too much noise about this which makes you fear the worse.

A little more that came my way in the same story.

Feka does hell of a lot for charity, he is always down at the Wigan shop where he buys....yes buys Wigan shirts to give to children, he visits hospital on a regular basis and loves the club and people of Wigan and that is why he is very sad to be moving on. Again at the time I got this message he should have signed for Hull for next season.

My personal add on to this is, maybe he has been told that he must stay silent about it all.
