Barrow's Parking Bill

Had to laugh at this, ex-Barrow player Pat Weisner (didn't he score a dodgy try for Harlequins at London in a win against us a couple of years ago?), left his club car at Manchester Airport in the Terminal Two short stay car park, and left for New Zealnd, never to return.

Pat Weisner moved to New Zealand in May to start a new life after a bitter split with Cumbrian rugby league club Barrow Raiders, the Manchester Evening News reported.
But the club car he left at the airport -- a Rover worth just Stg700 -- sat for 54 days in a Stg26.50-a-day car park.
Club officials realised the car was still at the airport when he posted the keys back to them.
Police and car park staff eventually found it among 20,000 vehicles in the Terminal Two short-stay, where it has racked up Stg1432 in charges.
