but at least it shows our appreciation to Micky and what he's done for us the last 3 years, he's one of the only players in the Wigan jersey that plays week in week out with pride and passion and gives 110%

Sorry but no we need a bit more in that position , if he had been coming on behind a quality starting hooker I may have had a different opinion , he has picked up of late(coming to the end of contract) but over the three years has been average at best , he tries but is not good enough to take the starting spot .

The decision to release Micky Higham at the end of the season is, in my view, bordering on insanity. I believe Ian Lenegan reads these forums on occasion so if you are reading this, Ian, don't do it!!!! He is currently one of the best hookers in Super League and if allowed to leave, he will most certainly come back to haunt us. The earlier suggestion for McIlorum to be sent on loan somewhere is an excellent one and would benefit the player and the club. This isn't just my view but the opinion of virtually everyone I have spoken to in recent weeks.

If enough people add posts to this thread then perhaps someone may take notice.
