Can't actually say I ever really saw King Billy in action so here are the best wingers I have ever seen in a Wigan shirt IMHO:
1 John Ferguson
2 Jason Robinson
3 Green Vigo
4 Brett Dallas
5 Martin Offiah

1. Offiah
2. Robinson
3. Gill
If to ask the question without actually seeing a player in a game, theres only 1 default answer... thats Mr B. (not binder)

Offiah
Gill (my first hero)
Robinson
Ferguson
Dallas
Vigo(only saw him play a few times but he made me watch)
Even though I never saw him play Boston has to be the best from his try scoring record to the legend he is and my dad having seen the rest says Billy had the skills that each of the above the others in no order .

Well; I'm going for
1)Sir Billy (well it should be) - I never saw him play; but his try scoring record speaks for itself and he is an absolute gent to boot
2)Offiah
3)Robinson
4)Gill
5)Dallas

Frano: I don't know why I would ever want to go to St Helens or Leeds

Nordgren and Ring are from my Dad's era. Is Billy B from yours?
I will have to ask my Dad what how he compares those three players but I suspect off that list the one to make way would be Gill not Offiah.
Not because Gill was a poor player but just because Offiah was a freak and the others were better!
I for one will never forget the 1985 cup final in which Gill played a major part.

If your dad can remember Johnny Ring, you should be able to recall Billy Boston!!
Johnny Ring played in the first Wembley Final in 1929!!
