Great downloaded it ready
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

were not boycotting the game, were boycotting the sponsors and whelan, were sticking the pictures of whelan over the JJB badge, the crest and other important bits are still there, i wouldn't be surprised if the lads did it too!

I expect the players & coaching staff will have to be careful as no doubt the [sports goods retailer]* sponsorship deal means they can't black out the logo without getting the club into legal bother.

However, what's to stop them tying their shirt sleeves up with black tape? It would look a bit like being in mourning (for not being able to use our home ground) and be a nod towards the tape a lot of us will be using to black the logo out.

*I'm not even giving it a mention on here any more. The gits!

Wasn't sure which thread to post this on. From today's Telegraph. Brian Simpson, Wigan's Euro MP is calling on the RFL to boycott the JJB for representative matches as he is incensed at Wigan being forced to switch grounds. He has written to the RFL to this effect. He says he is fed up with being treated as a second class citizen in a town which has rugby league as it's major game by a stadium owner who puts football above everything else. I say good on 'im.

it as already been said the only way to get to Whelan is in his pocket

so the idea of buying anything at the JJB is a very good idea , but for this to have any effect what so ever thousands will have to abide by this

what i will say now is i will never buy anything again that can line the pockets of that sniffleing little football gnome

Wigan is and always will be a town of Cherry & White
