Your'e a banker

“Usually the fans that abuse players like Sam have never done anything of any note themselves. They’re nobodies, whose greatest claim to fame is abusing someone who has, and these so-called ‘Eddie the Experts’ pretend to their mates that they have."

With regard to the heading of this thread, does any Wigan Supporter take offence at being called a Pie, or a Pie-Eater? I certainly don't, its been part of our heritage since well before my time!!

It never ceases to amuse me when we play a Yorkshire side who arrive in the full knowledge that, somewhere during the match, the term 'sheep-sh***ing' is bound to come up, and they feel that they are offering suitable retaliation by referring to our love of, and ability to excel,in a product which kept our nation alive through 2 World Wars!

If I had to choose, which fortunately I don't, I know with which term I would prefer to prefer to be 'insulted'!!!

I know I'm being a bit thick here, but what's this got to do with Whelan/Latics/JJB or whatever?
