Has anyone watched boots n all tonight eddie was reading out emails and I had to laugh when a disgruntled cas fan emailed in and said wigan shouldnt have been granted a super league licence because of the ground share fiasco wot a load of tosh

The RFL cant do anything and I fear the government cant... it is HIS stadium as it were...
Lets wait until he dies and I quote "The stadium shall belong to the town of wigan"

to true but its like my other half commented the other day if we do make it to the grand final whealan will be there wiv is cronies lapping it up makes me sick to the stomach :exc:

I too watched the programme, and have to say it's the first time for a good while i've agreed with Stevo.
So Whelan is clearly the bad guy here, and he is also a bl99dy big hypocrite.
In the Mirror the other day he says he is one of Wigan Rugby biggest fans, Yeah rite, cos you always treat a team your fond of like he has ours.
If as pointed out Hull ground can accomadate both clubs playing on the same day, then we could have played fri and them footy lot Sat.
No he just does not want to pay out for staff to do it or have his precious turf ruined.
I used to feel it was good for the town to have two sports in the elite ranks bringing in revenue etc.
Now I hope the footy lot go to $h1te.

just watched codeXlll and Craig Spence (i think thats his name) said the Wigan fans need to get down to the game and show Whelan that the biggest thing to come out of Wigan is the rugby club and not the football club

This takes me back to the season before last when we held on to our Super League status until the last minute.
I envisage Friday as being the most exciting fixture of the season and there will be an extra feeling of enhanced camaraderie due to the disgraceful circumstances which brought us to the location!
Lets just hope we get the result, cos then it really will be PARTY TIME!!!!!
