To be fair, Bailey does hold down a lot, and the O#Carrol penalty was fair.My main complaint was them getting away with holding on to the tackler to try to get the penalty.
I thought Ganson had a good game on the whole, I missed the head high on Gaz Hock until the replay. Good call from Ganson. those Catalans fans seem to hate him almost as much as Wigan fans!!

Didnt Ganson get a bottle thrown at him as he came off the pitch last time he refereed a Catalan match?

I think it was just beer, not a bottle, but yes.

I'd forgotten about that, if that had been a UK club (apart from stains) the RFL would have fined the club surely?

I don't really remember the outcome, I think they caught and banned the fan who did it. Don't think the club were punished.

Just found this, after a little googling:
http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/11082008/ ... ident.html
Catalans Dragons have pledged to step up security after a spectator hurled beer at referee Steve Ganson as he left the field following the home side's 16-16 draw with Wigan in Perpignan on Saturday.
The French Super League club, who have also identified the fan and banned him from the ground, are hoping their swift action will enable them to avoid any punishment by the Rugby Football League, who have begun an investigation into the incident.

They were really pushin their luck with it and gettin away with it!!
Went ballistic at O'Carroll for giving that one away, which led to their try right on half time. Could have changed the outcome of the game..... Luckily it didn't
