What does everyone think of this appointment?? I personally say it is well earned by his recent form.

Does this mean he has got Referee Of The Year as well??

Predictable... other than that I am totally indifferent to the news... hope the refereeing is crap, Saints get beat and feel really hard done by.

If it IS based on whose "turn" it is, then Thaler maybe for Referee Of The Year???? Or Silverwood/Bentham??

Leeds fans on the RLFansite are saying what the heck is Thaler involved for being the VR at this level???

There are worse choices that could have been chosen as VR for Saturday's game in my opinion.
