Huddersfield have confirmed the signing of former Castleford and Wakefield prop Michael Korkidas.
The 27-year-old has agreed a three-year deal with the Giants after negotiating a release from the final season of his Castleford contract last month.
Korkidas, who was also linked with a return to Wakefield, first came to Britain when he joined the Wildcats from Sydney Roosters in 2002 and also had a spell at Salford.
The move will see him link up with new Huddersfield coach Nathan Brown, who takes charge next season.
Korkidas said: "It's a great move for me. I was looking for an opportunity and when Browny showed interest I jumped at it.
"I know him from my NRL days and he is a top-class coach who I believe can bring the best out of me and get me back to the form I was showing a few years back."

KORKIDAS BECOMES A GIANT
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

So I take it huddersfield will be in a relegation-type battle for 14th spot next season.
