CHANNEL Nine have assured World Cup organisers they will only subject viewers to two minutes of build-up before Sunday night's Australia-England clash.
Tournament director and RLIF chairman Colin Love said: "I was concerned that the telecast on Sunday went so late.
"People got tired, kids had to go to bed. Nine have assured us that the kick-off on their Sunday night telecast will be at 8.32pm.
"I think that is a fair compromise.''
Love said telecast times for other Pool One matches and the semi-finals would not change, however.
Meanwhile Fox has moved the France-Fiji game to it's Main Event channel, free of charge, on Saturday because of overflow problems on the three main sport channels.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
